We are excited to announce that one of our therapists, Lucia, is now seeing patients at the Excel Physical Therapy clinic on Knik Goose Bay Road! Lucia was formerly at the Excel Physical Therapy on Bogard Road.
O. Lucia Beisel, PT, DPT, is a graduate of excellence from Long Island University in 2010. She received her Bachelor’s in Anthropology at Stony Brook University in 2005. She began practicing 2 months after receiving her degree. Lucia specializes in Orthopedic, Acute Care, Balance/Vestibular retraining, Lymphedema, as well as Sports, Oncology and Neuro Rehabilitation (such as a Stroke, TBI, MS and Parkinson’s). She has training in Graston Technique, Functional Mobilization, PNF and Manual Therapy. Lucia and her family relocated to Alaska in 2015. Her hobbies are hiking, snow machining, fishing and hanging out with the family.
